The VI peel is comprised of 4 uniquely formulated compounds designed to treat all skin types, tones and textures. These include TCA (trichloroacetic acid), Retin-A, salicylic acid and Vitamin C. The VI peel is a good solution for those clients who desire a chemical peel for skin rejuvenation, but who don’t want one that is too deep or painful. It is also a great complement for those undergoing treatment with dermal fillers and injectables.

First, your skin will be carefully cleansed, removing any impurities. Next, the specially formulated solution will be spread over your skin evenly.
The solution gently exfoliates the damages skin cells while stimulating collagen regrowth. It is then washed off, and the client can leave the office immediately, returning to their regular activities.
For the first few days after your treatment, the skin may have a slightly reddish tone. This is no cause for worry, and will simply appear like you have had exposure to the sun. Peeling will continue for about a week, after which your skin will be glowing and fresh.
You will be provided with moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated as it recovers. Dr. Hu suggests abstaining from vigorous exercise for the first week. You can repeat the VI peel as often as every 3-4 months.
